Overview

The Account Manager serves as the day-to-day contact for a roster of 3 to 10 client partners and is responsible for managing their requests, expectations, and deliverables. The Account Manager works collaboratively with internal teams to ensure customer success by managing timelines and projects, coordinating warehouse activities as needed, and tracking services rendered for accurate invoicing. Account Managers retain and continuously grow relationships with client partners by ensuring first-class service daily. 


This position is full-time, with an annual salary of $50,000–$55,000 with benefits. On-site at Bulu warehouse offices. This is not a remote position.


Responsibilities

  • Manage a roster of kitting and ecommerce fulfillment client accounts. 
    • Schedule activities across teams to execute the kitting and fulfillment needs of your client
    • Communicate and manage cross-functional teams to ensure work is done on time and on budget for your client
    • Lead client L10 meetings and day-to-day correspondence
    • Monitor and report on inventory, inbound shipments, outbound shipments and order status. 
  • Develop good working relationships and communicate effectively with client partners and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously and prioritize according to revenue goals
  • Protect existing business by developing new growth opportunities and managing the drivers of profitability and cash flow
  • Ensure all partners are invoiced accurately and in a timely fashion
  • Oversee client-related WMS (warehouse management system) activity including receiving receipts, inventory and order management in partnership with internal teams
  • Learn to anticipate client needs so as to solve problems proactively 
  • Make decisions in situations where ambiguity or limited standardization exists
  • Travel to client locations 1-3 times per year

Experience & Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience, or 6+ years of equivalent work experience
  • Experience with account management or client management
  • Ability to move fast, be fearless and thrive in a dynamic environment
  • General proficiency with computers is required; experience with project management software is a huge plus
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in English
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business documents
  • Ability to prioritize, strong attention to detail, accuracy and follow-through
  • Incredible service orientation and a passion for meeting the expressed and unexpressed needs of others
  • An infectiously positive attitude that can be felt through the phone or over Zoom and Teams while working to create solutions or resolve issues quickly
  • Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
    • Master’s degree in business or equivalent preferred
    • Foreign language skills
    • Experience working with Google Suite (Calendar, Email, etc.), Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and Asana project management software
